Alex has been the athletic trainer at Tri-County since 2016. He is also an athletic trainer at Stevens Point Area Senior High and has previously spent time with Ben Franklin Junior High, P.J. Jacobs Junior High, and Almond-Bancroft High School. He was a graduate assistant athletic trainer at University High School in Normal, IL while earning a master's degree in athletic training from Illinois State University in 2016. He earned a bachelor's degree in athletic training from the University of Wisconsin-Madison in 2014 where he learned alongside the Badger football and track & field teams as well as at Edgewood High School.
Athletic Training Facility Hours: Wednesday, 3:00-5:30 PM. Located in the northwest corner of the high school gym. Athletic training services are also provided at all home HS football, HS wrestling, and track & field events.
What is athletic training?
Athletic training encompasses the prevention, examination, diagnosis, treatment and rehabilitation of emergent, acute or chronic injuries and medical conditions. Athletic training is recognized by the American Medical Association (AMA), Health Resources Services Administration (HRSA) and the Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) as an allied health care profession.

Full scholarships (also called full-ride scholarships) are the holy grail of funding opportunities, covering almost everything for the full three or four years of university. Your tuition and living costs will be covered by the provider, leaving you free to focus on your studies and social life without worrying about money. Sounds great, right?
Sadly, there just aren’t too many of these dream scholarships going around. Full scholarships are rare, and those that are available are very competitive.
